The goals of IFKA – concerning the environment – set in the Deed of Foundation have been actively carried out since 2003 through various projects and grants. IFKA and the Association for Environmentally Aware Management – co-founded by IFKA – accomplished the "Environmental Awareness and Proposal Writing in the EU" project in 2003-2004, in which the EUPROM Centre represented IFKA.
Since 2007 IFKA has been a member of the Hungarian Society of Industrial Ecology. We have been developing new environmental projects that are of great significance to the industry, but have their main focus on environmental protection and sustainable development (e.g. industrial ecology, industrial symbiosis).
